What Do You Do with a Penny?
What do you do when you see a penny (or any odd bit of change) on the floor, sidewalk or parking lot? Ignore it? Or pick it up? There are no accidents. That penny lies at your feet for a reason. These bits of "found money" are pennies from heaven, entrusted to you to "do the right thing." They are itty-bitty blessings scattered before you. Pick them up! They were placed before you as seeds entrusted to your care and for you to grow. If you ignore or leave them behind, you're turning your back on your angels' gifts and closing your doors to opportunities. Your angels - and your subconscious mind - will shut those doors and you will find your range of opportunities shrink. So what do you do with these odd bits? After all, penny candy is long gone, so there isn't really much you can do with a penny -- or is there? Save them up and give them to someone in need of blessings, in need of hope. Tell them it's "found money" or "pennies from heaven" and that you hope it brings them as much luck as it brought to you. Find a way to double it, and double it again and again. Be inventive! Can you find enough blessed coins to buy candy bars and resell them as a fundraiser? Or buy the ingredients for fabulous homemade fudge to sell? Can you expand it enough to buy something to sell on eBay and pay eBay's fees as well? Can you continue expanding your blessings to invest in your future - or your child's college education - or donate a washer & dryer to a homeless shelter? Those pennies are blessed to your use.
